The iconic Bodegas Riojanas estate was founded in 1890 and is steeped in Rioja's history. Made from the Tempranillo grape, this fruit driven unoaked wine is the perfect introduction to the Rioja region and the Bodegas wines. Bodegas Riojanas Tempranillo shows primary strawberry and blackberry fruit on the nose and palate, underlying this is silky a smooth texture balanced by a refreshing crisp acidity.

Throughout its more than 100 years of history, the winemaking systems have evolved significantly —because, at Bodegas Riojanas, innovation is not incompatible with respect for tradition. Bright and lively in colour with aromas of liquorice, violets, stewed fruit and vanilla. Well structure tannins with a pleasant mouth feel and good finish.
