The Pommery Cuvée 150 was made as a special creation by Domain Pommery on the occasion of its 150th birthday in honor of the first Brut Champagne. It consists of 100% Chardonnay grapes. Before it finds its way onto the shelves and exclusive restaurants around the world, it is aged for 6 years in the huge chalk cellars of Reims. With its citrus aromas and mineral notes, the pale golden champagne can be served well as an aperitif, but also with fish dishes and poultry dishes with lemon notes.

Grape - 100% Chardonnay

Vinification - The fermentation takes place in large stainless steel tanks. The Champagne matures for 72 months 'sur lattes' in 30 meters deep tunnels surrounded by limestone. There is a constant temperature of 10 °C. He receives a dosage of 5 grams/liter.

Vineyard - The grapes are a selection of the best plots from Chouilly, Cramant, Avize, Oger (La Côte des Blancs), Dizy (La Grande Vallée de la Marne), Trépail, Villers-Marmery, Verzy, Verzenay (La Montagne de Reims) and Les Clos Pompadour (Reims).

After making a fortune in the wool industry, in 1856, Mr Pommery was in fragile health and decided to retire from business and enjoy a quiet life. His son Louis was no longer a child. Mr Pommery and his wife did not have any special plans. They simply wanted to enjoy a well-deserved retirement. But destiny had other things in store for them? Madame Pommery discovered she was expecting a child, at the age of 38. This miraculous pregnancy, more than 17 years after her first, would change their lives forever. To provide for his baby daughter, Mr Pommery decided to go back into business. But the wool industry was in crisis. However, the champagne trade was booming.
Champagne is a unique region, a unique wine, the oldest AOC in France and is only produced in the specific area delimited by law on 22 July 1927.
