Glenfiddich Experimental Series Project XX

Glenfiddich has been writing and re-writing the rules of single malt Scotch whisky since 1887, and Project XX is no exception. Shrouded in secrecy, Malt Master Brian Kinsman invited twenty whisky experts from sixteen countries to the Glenfiddich distillery to take part in an experiment. This experiment, a marriage of each whisky expert's choice whisky, resulted in Project XX.

COLOUR - Deep Gold.

NOSE -  Classic fruitiness with hints of apple blossom and plump pear. A perfect balance of rich vanilla oak with golden sugar and a touch of liquorice.

TASTE - Deep and mellow, the candyfloss sweetness is complemented by unusual notes of toasted almonds and cinnamon and a hint of crisp tannin.

FINISH - Long lasting with a savoured sweet oakiness.
