• Climate: Mediterranean climate with an annual rainfall of approximately 1000mm.
• Location: The estate is situated on the upper slopes of the Breede River Valley, at an altitude of 240 – 350m above sea level.
• Soil: The area features weathered sandstone hills and a valley floor sedimented by diverse soil parent materials, influenced by the Worcester Fault geological feature.
