Vérité du Terroir from Château La Gordonne is an organic wine. In keeping with organic principles, only sulphur (to control powdery mildew) and copper (to control downy mildew) are used to protect the vineyard. Soil is maintained by ploughing. Grenache, Syrah and Cinsault grapes are planted in schist- based soil and mature in a harmonious balan ce with our terroir under the Provençal sun.
Clinging to the schist hillsides of Provence, the parcels of Château La Gordonne Terroir Remarquable vineyard are carefully selected for this Vérité du Terroir vintage. The grapes are exclusively harvested at night to benefit from the low temperatures and to increase the quality. They are directly pressed to extract the preliminary aromas. Under the press, the first juices selection allows only the tête de cuvee to be kept. Fermentation occurs at a cool temperature to express the fruits and the aromas

This refreshing promise is affirmed in the mouth by dominant notes of raspberry and redcurrant underscored by the freshness of citrus. This rose wine?s harmony and perfect balance prolongs the pleasure of tasting in a long, sweet finale.
