Inspired to create a fruitier and sweeter Balvenie, Kelsey imported Virgin Oak barrels from Kentucky. These barrels were then filled with Balvenie aged in ex-bourbon casks, resulting in a delectably complex whisky with rich notes of candied fruit, coconut, and delicate vanilla.
