Vineyard and Winery:

El Coto Rioja Blanco is crafted from Verdejo and Sauvignon Blanc grapes sourced from high-altitude vineyards in Rioja Oriental, situated over 840 meters above sea level. The Viura grapes are mainly sourced from Rioja Alta, where the limestone and clay soils contribute to the wine's structure and complexity. The high-altitude vineyards benefit from warm days and cool nights, which allows for slow, balanced ripening.

The grapes are chilled upon arrival at the winery and gently pressed in a pneumatic press.
